I am not sure why this is a branded JW... i dont know if this is a mistake in marketing or not... but this should not be a JW... we have a certain experience in mind when we stay at JW branded Marriott hotels and this is not it. we have stayed in JW Marriotts in a few different places and they have been so much more upscale than this... in fact we have stayed in category 4 and 5 Marriott hotels that were better than this. It was funny to see someone call it Lipstick on a pig because that is what we were saying during our whole stay. The only pluses that I can say is that its was cheap... but thats because its not really a Category 7 hotel . And the Location, if you want to stay near the pier this is a good place. I would certainly look around if staying here again. They need to categorize this hotel again

My review is for the valet crew, Jesus, Jonathan and Manny. They have contagious energy, they made us feel welcome and were very attentive to our needs. Great respectful and professional crew!

We just concluded a three day weekend at the JW Santa Monica Le Merigot. Rooms and overall hotel very dated and in need of updating and improvements. Having stayed over 1000 nights in Marriott properties around the world, I can confidently say that this hotel is not up to the standard for JW properties or category 7. Many staff members, including the front desk, seem to be indifferent and not enthusiastic to greet and welcome guests, with one exception, the valet staff out front, they have been helpful, friendly and responsive.

Had a great stay. Stayed for four nights, and left very satisfied. Very quiet room with everything we needed. Kathy and Vidal at the front desk were especially helpful!

Um lugar lindo com uma vista linda. Tive um grande momento aqui. A uma curta distância da praia e do calçadão. Esteja você relaxando dentro do quarto ou apreciando a varanda espaçosa, ela tem vista para a rua e ainda assim se sente realmente relaxante, oh, é um lugar muito bom para ficar. Um pouco caro, para o tamanho da sala, mas tratam você bem.

Unfortunately, my stay was not pleasant, to say the least. I checked into this resort because it was a category 7 resort. However, the rooms are severely outdated and were not clean. There were stains all over the carpet, foul odor coming from the furniture and curtains. I contacted the front desk and spoke to James. He initiated a room switch for me to the room next door. However, after making the switch and preparing myself to take a shower, I turned on the shower and then realized that the shower head was broken. With the water splashing everywhere, I slipped out of the shower bumping my head. Unfortunately, it was late in the evening and the only solution was for James to switch us back over to the unclean room where we then stayed for two nights. My husband and I are highly disappointing and the level of customer service, and staff service. Due to our elite status with Marriott Bonvoy, we receive breakfast credit that we were not informed about until the time of checkout by Elise. We spoke to Kathy and she informed us that she would only refund us for one night. Our room was never recleaned by housekeeping. Again, I am highly disappointed in the level of service we received here. The resort charges for everything and more customer service should be given out to guests. We came to this resort with the intention to book a spa appointment and once we arrived were notified that the spa is still closed due to COVID-19. What a poor excuse! I am so disappointed in this JW Marriott. I just can not believe that this is a category 7 hotel by Marriott. I, unfortunately, do not recommend this resort and will not return. The JW Marriott L.A. LIVE or Ritz Carlton is a much better choice!

A lovely place with lovely views. Had a great time here. Within walking distance from the beach and the boardwalk. Whether you're relaxing inside the room or enjoying the spacious balcony it overlooked the street and still feel really relaxing oh, it's pretty nice place to stay. A little pricey, for the size of the room, but they treat you right.

I am a titanium elite member and while I was checking into the hotel the gentleman working the desk told me that I would have to pay for my upgraded room. As a titanium elite member you do not pay for upgrades if they are available. I had to call Marriott customer service and have them call the hotel to straighten them out. This is a franchised hotel so they seem to want to play by their own rules here. This hotel is way overpriced as well. I got a soggy chop salad for $30 and one Coors light for $10. This place is a complete joke and I will never return.

The hotel/valet staff we’re all kind and the ocean view was beautiful. However, the room was dated. The carpet, especially the carpet in the bathroom, was dirty. The hot water in the shower wasn’t heating up. They sent someone to come take a look and he told me I had to let it run and that the hotel is big so it takes time. The water had to run for 15 minutes before getting warm (huge waste of water). I asked for more towels for the room, but they never came. Room service didn’t answer not once. The spa was still closed. Overall, the quality of the hotel wasn’t great. For the money we paid, we were expecting a little more.

I love staying here when I am in town. This hotel is stunning and so relaxing. It has great views and is few minutes away in walking to great places around the area. The staff are always so kind and helpful. During one of my last stays, I accidentally burnt a white dress of mine while using the iron and the guys working valet helped me immediately get it transported to laundry services. I had it returned and cleaned within 2 hours!! Seriously, they are amazing. Thank you so much Le Merigot for all you do.

La atención es muy buena, pero las instalaciones no justifican $850.00 USD diarios de hospedaje en cuarto standards, muy muy caro por lo que recibes, se me olvidaba, el desayuno no está incluido.
