I used the Hyatt Centric Mag Mile for my wedding block Labor Day weekend 2021. I cannot explain how amazing the team was! First, Zach was the best. He was so quick to respond and my Mom/Mother-in-Law actually ENJOYED talking with him (Who say's that about wedding vendors?!). He made everything seamless and easy, including a wedding date change because of COVID. His team, Alyssa and Elizabeth were a tremendous help in the year leading up to the wedding. With having ~100 wedding guests staying at this hotel, they received a lot of calls and were patient with everyone. They also had a great deal with having the Groom and Bride have a suite with an amazing price (and SURPRISE upgrade to the king suite when we arrived!). The premises are recently updated and the location is near everything downtown. Debbie and her team at the front office made the entire weekend an ease with check-ins, welcome bag deliveries, coach bus/limo parking and adding rooms to the wedding block last minute. I cannot wait to stay here again. Thank you for making my wedding weekend even better than I thought it would be!

This is one of the ones, great corner king suite, hotel services was great not that I really need much from them. I would definitely go back again only con is my room didn't have a microwave 🙃

Decided to celebrate my 5-year anniversary by staying at different hotels around Chicago and Hyatt Centric was the third stop. Booked a one king bed on a high floor to celebrate the occasion. Front desk was helpful and friendly but unlike the other two stops there were no upgrades. The view from the high floor wasn’t great and did not feel that it was worth it. For a one-night stay there were a couple of problems. Mini fridge did not work. Called Maintenance and they said they would send someone up to take a look. Went out for a couple of hours and when we came back fridge still wasn’t working. Called them again and they said they saw the ticket for maintenance, and no one had picked it up. They were going to try getting maintenance up to the room again, but no one ever showed up. Next morning went to take a shower and the bathtub stared filling up with water and wasn’t draining. Called front desk and they sent someone up to snake the bathtub.They also charge a $20 destination fee. $15, I think, can be used at the bar or breakfast.After checking out we went for breakfast and during breakfast I realized that I was missing my wedding ring. I realized that I might have left it at the hotel. I called the hotel and the person I first spoke to said I needed to talk to the lost and found department and transferred me over. Call went to a voicemail asking to leave name, room number and item. After leaving the voicemail I figured I’d wait till after breakfast hoping they’d get my message and go retrieve my item. When I didn’t hear back from them, I decided to go to the hotel again and check with the front desk. Arrived again at the hotel and my wife went up. Apparently, the person she spoke to said the same thing about lost and found. My wife asked if the room had been cleaned since it had been only a couple of hours since we checked out and the person said no. My wife asked if she could go the room and take a look. This person was new, and she said that she’d have to wait for someone to escort my wife to the room. After some time waiting and no one being available this new hire, bless her heart and we forgot what her name was but it started with a V, volunteered to take my wife to the room herself. Once at the room the ring was on the main table. What could have been a bad memory was quickly turned around by this person and I’m thankful for her being there. I’m still waiting on lost and found to call me back.Special shoutout to the doorman Mohammed who was very helpful and friendly and the valets who were all hustling in rainy weather.

Very nice accommodations. Attentive staff. Excellent service especially in Level 2 restaurant and bar! Donny the bar tender in the evening went above and beyond!

Excellent service and stay. Everything was clean and accessible. The bed wasn't our favorite. It wasn't comfortable enough to sleep through the night, our only con.

Great and excellent staff. I am a licensed travel agent that was visiting for personal travel. The location was optimal for experiencing the windy city. I really appreciated the promptness of the staff and overall we would definitely visit again. The manager Leon has ready got is staff running on all cylinders.

Really nice hotel environment. On site restaurant food is good. Rooms, decent plus. (Must confess) I had just left the Grand Hyatt.. tough act to follow.

The Hyatt Mag Mile hotel would be fantastic if this were branded a super 8 at a third of the price. Here are my problems: 1. There was blood on the sheets on one of the beds. A small spot, but absolutely large enough it should have been noticed. 2. I think I'm in a handicap room due to the bathroom fixtures and size. But there is a tub here, not zero entry. So if you're booking a handicap room, check that shower out before you unpack. 3. Speaking of bathrooms, the floor is polished stone (or faux marble). It's bananas dangerously slippery when getting out of the shower. Request extra towels to put on the floor. 4. The beds are easily some of the most uncomfortable beds ever. I sat down and felt nothing but springs. I'd rather sleep on the mattress in my grandma's guest room. 5. Don't bother using the "front desk" or "guest services" buttons on the in-room phone. No one will answer. Ever. If you need to get in touch w staff (maybe because of a stranger's forensic evidence visible in your bed) you'll have to call the main number from your mobile phone. 6. Half the weirdly placed reading lights are burnt out in my room.

I want to thank the hotel staff for their hospitality during my trip. The hospitality and services provided by each staff of the hotel were excellent, they attended me very well at all times, and I was so impressed by their courtesy. I enjoyed my stay, and I want to convey my thanks to all associated with the hotel.

Excelente hotel. Las habitaciones son fantásticas, amplias y limpias. Los baños son soberbios, amplios y con una muy buena iluminación. Los pasillos también son muy amplios. La vista de las habitaciones no tienen nada que envidiar le a otros muy famosos hoteles. El gimnasio es de primera calidad. La pileta, aunque no muy grande, está limpia y buen climatizada. El hotel está muy bien ubicado. La limpieza y la cordialidad de todo el personal es indiscutible.

La ubicación de este hotel es excelente, está a un paso de muy buenos restaurants, entretenimientos, museos y grandes tiendas. El problema está a la hora del desayuno, tienen una encargada llamada Alice que hace que un excelente menú se vea disminuido porque no está preparada para atender en forma amable a los clientes y tampoco al personal al que trata en forma muy despectiva y arrogante, se nota un ambiente tenso. Da una pésima imagen del hotel!!. Patricia.
