“Nice place but no microwave in room. Fridge is so small, I can't even fit two gallons of juice in there. I think it's done on purpose so you'll have to eat at their restaurant every day. When I'm on a long- stay travel, I like to go to the super market, and keep enough food in the fridge in order to avoid eating out daily. Hawaii is very expensive. Eating out is very expensive here. I wish the room had a fridge where I could keep enough there. Parking is $ 47/ night. I don't remember seeing that during booking. Finding a parking meter is an eternal nightmare - A good coffee machine would have helped, too. Nice hotel but very inconvenient. It's been a bit of a stressful experience to me.”

“I’ve been staying here for 11 days of a two week stay, so I’m on my last 3 days here. The pool is nice and accessible, with bars and restaurants attached on the offhand chance you just want to stay in for a night. The hotel was priced well. It is in the city, so if you are super high maintenance and can’t sleep if the tiniest light is on or noise is being made, then steer clear (honestly, or you’re THAT high maintenance, skip Hawaii altogether, it’s not for you). Noise and light are consistent, with very little way to block them out (but again... you are in a city. You just have to act like an adult and live with the things you can’t change. Be happy you’re in paradise). Air conditioning works great (though you honestly won’t need it, but it’s a nice touch). The parking fees are a little high (but for tourists without cars this shouldn’t matter). The location is great. A short walk to the beach, tourist areas, great food, and bus access to get anywhere else. Room size is a little small, (but you should spend your day in the city/beach anyway). Front desk staff is hospitable and accommodating. The only reason they aren’t getting 4 or more stars is because the cleaning staff keeps harassing me whenever I come home. They keep yelling at me and telling me to stop smoking (I am not now, nor have I ever been a smoker), and every time they clean I come back to my room being sprayed with some awful smelling chemical and the staff telling me not to smoke in the room.... I’m not sure if it is the food I eat, or the smell from outside, or maybe the room next to me, but it is a little awkward to be confronted by women yelling at you for something you don’t do every time you come home. I’m seriously hoping they don’t charge me the “250$ Smoking fine”, or I’ll be back in a few days to change this to a 1-Star.”
